| Bobbert: The Sequel |
|
As we all know, Bobbert's life was perfectly outlined in his story. So this one is going to be more than just a cheesy continuation. This is the story of Bob and Misty's daughter: Migi. Misty thought her life was as perfect as could be. She was very much in love with her famous husband, and had some unusual, but good friends. Her job was okay too ... as far as that could go. But being a beautician only had so many thrills. One day, on her lunch break, Misty decided to visit Bob. She was let into the studio with no trouble at all. But, as they were filming, she had to be quiet. Misty watched her husband play his part, and smiled to herself. When the scene was over, Misty took Bob out to lunch. Later that night, Misty paused in the middle of reading a book and began to think about what had happened that day. Bob walked in the door, and saw her staring off into space. Bob asked her if she was all right, and she replied that she was fine. Misty began asking Bob what he thought about kids quite routinely until one day.... Bob was talking to a friend on the set, who finally clued him in to what Misty was hinting at. Bob felt like such an idiot! So he decided to make it up to his wife, he took her out to a romantic dinner and told her that he had been talking to a friend who pointed out what he was too blind to see. Bob and Misty talked about having kids and starting their own little family. They waited until the perfect time, and checked with the doctor routinely to see if Misty was pregnant. And one day, she was! For a long time, both Bob and Misty were all smiles. Finally, Bob's agent asked him why he was so annoyingly happy. So he told him that his wife was pregnant. His agent thought it would be great publicity, but Bob didn't want his child to be smothered by the media... His agent reassured him that it could wait quite a while, but eventually the truth would have to come out. Bob agreed to wait, he didn't want any attention he could avoid. But the media noticed the extra attention Bob was giving to his wife. And at an interview, he was finally asked to spill the beans. "My wife is having a baby, she's a few moths pregnant. We're happier than ever." That's when it got bad. The media started flocking all around Misty, she didn't have a minute to herself. She finally called the salon and told them she would have to meet people in a more private place than the salon. her coworkers agreed to her terms, and Misty was okay – for a while. Misty took time off work as late as she possibly could in her pregnancy. She wasn't due for a few more weeks, but it happened anyway. She was folding laundry on a hot day, and her contractions were getting closer together. She called the doctor right away. He told her to come see him at the hospital, and to call her husband as soon as possible. She called a friend to drive her to the hospital, and took her cell phone with her. When she got there, she called Bob while she waited for her doctor. Unfortunately, the only person she was able to talk to was his agent. So she talked to him between contractions. Then she finally got to talk to Bob. She quickly filled him in. Bob said he'd drop everything and come to see her, right away. Bob arrived when Misty was with the doctor. He was soon by her side. After a few more hours of labour, Misty finally gave birth to their daughter. The proud parents were practically ecstatic. Later, in her hospital room, Bob and Misty decided to name their new daughter Migi. That's how their family began...
Migi, unlike her father, was a wonderful child. She was always eager to help others. Her parents tried to keep her away from the media as much as possible and let her have a "normal" life. But Migi had her share of ups and downs, and was eventually sent away to boarding school in the hopes that there would be less competition in her life. When she was in college, she finally became her own person. She became an accomplished writer under the pen name Zandra Zant. She fell for a handsome young man, by the name of Bruce, a few years later. But she soon decided to ignore her feelings, because she thought she'd never get anywhere with them in any case. Boy, was she wrong...
One day, she told her best friend, Frieda, about her crush. Frieda decided to take matters into her own hands. That is, she went to Migi's object of affection and asked him indirectly what he thought of Migi, and Zandra Zant. Bruce told Frieda that he thought Migi was awfully cute, but he didn't really know much about her. As for Zandra Zant, he thought her work was pretty good, but he'd like to know who she really was – just out of curiosity of course. Frieda told him that she could help him get to know Migi better. After all, they were best friends. And maybe someday, someone would tell him who Zandra Zant really was. Well, this guy was nowhere near being as clueless as Migi's father. He asked Frieda straight out if Migi had a crush on him. Frieda asked him what he'd think if she did. While he thought about it, Frieda all of a sudden said she had to go. She left her business card for him to call her if he wanted to know more about Migi – including how to contact her. Being the curious type, he decided to take up her offer. Within a week, he called to ask about Migi. Frieda told him to anonymously contact Migi on Me2U, an instant messaging service. He would appear to be a random chatter, and he could just start talking to her. So that's how it started, Migi and Bruce were talking on Me2U and soon became great friends. After some time, Bruce told her that he lived in the same town as her and asked for her address. Just to be cautious, she gave him her work address. And a few days later, flowers were delivered to her office. Finally, Bruce told her who he really was over Me2U. Migi was shocked. She asked him if he knew who she was. He told her that her friend, Frieda had arranged it all. He was curious, and wanted to know what she was really like. Migi was soooo embarrassed. She stopped talking to him, and to Frieda. She felt betrayed. Flowers kept arriving at work. Then, somehow, Bruce found out her home address and phone number. He left messages on her voice mail, delivered more flowers, and even sent telegrams. He tried everything, he felt really bad about what happened. Nothing seemed to work. So Frieda went over to talk to Migi. She apologized and told her friend she was only trying to help. Besides, he said that he thought Migi was very cute, but didn't really know her so he couldn't say anything else. Migi finally forgave her friend. Later, Frieda held a surprise birthday bash for Migi. In the middle of the party, someone rang the doorbell. Frieda answered it, and brought in a silly looking clown. He walked straight over to a very confused Migi. "Who's under all that makeup?" she wondered. He stopped right in front of her and handed her a plain yellow envelope. She opened it. Inside, was an apology letter from Bruce. She read it over a few times to herself, then Frieda asked what was wrong. "See for yourself," she said, handing the letter to Frieda. "That's so romantic!" Frieda squealed. "Oh come on, you've got to forgive him," Frieda paused, "You forgave me. And look at all the trouble he's gone to." Then Migi noticed the clown hadn't moved. She looked back at him. But nobody knew who he was. "Do you want a tip, or something?" Migi asked. The clown shook his head. Then he handed her the "I'm Sorry" balloons he was holding. Then Migi realized who he was. It was Bruce. Standing there, hoping to be forgiven. He looked so different in the clown costume (not to mention ridiculous), with a big red frown, and a tear painted on his face. She didn't know what to do. She dropped everything she was holding and hugged him. "I forgive you," she whispered into his ear. He hugged her back, "Thanks." Frieda clued in, and a huge smile spread across her face.
When the party was over, Bruce helped clean up. While Frieda cleaned up the kitchen, Bruce and Migi talked in the living room. He pulled off his red wig and set it aside. "I'm sorry I held a grudge for so long..." Migi started. "No, it's all right. I don't really blame you. But I'm glad you finally decided to forgive me." "Well, I don't think I could be mad at you for the rest of my life." "So ... Will you go out with me?" Migi blushed, "Sure." "I look pretty stupid, don't I?" She smiled, "Well, not too stupid." Just as he was about to kiss her, Frieda walked in. Bruce moved away, and resumed cleaning duties. Frieda explained that she thought they might want some more help cleaning that room. After all, she was already done with the kitchen. Which was understandable, as she'd been cleaning up in there a bit during the party. The next day, Bruce called Migi and asked her out on a date. She said yes, of course! And they had a wonderful time. Soon they became almost inseparable. They were a very close couple. Eventually, they got married. Migi told Bruce about her secret identity and they started a family. They had two cats, and two fish. They were named What, Why, Where, and How. Their kids, fraternal twins, were named Who, and When. Who was their son, When was their daughter.
Both of Migi and Bruce's children grew up to be famous models. And as
children, they loved hearing about how bad grandpa Bobbert had been. So
the story ends ... or not.
